A stag peering round in the garden behind the house

Guest comments:

18.02.11 ...we saw a deer out of the kitchen window and got very close to a young stag just up the road where the pigs roam by the pond.

24.03.11. Saw a golden eagle on Mull, buzzards above the house, deer nearby. Highland cow had a calf during our stay.

A camouflaged resting stag in Bellsgrove woods. If you can't spot it, its head is just below the base of the last tree on the right.

30.07.11. We saw lots of wildlife like eagles, dragonflies, minkie whales, porpoise, seals and the pretty swallows outside.

10.09.11 Wildcats on two occasions when driving up to the house. Golden eagle close to Ardnamurchan point. Large seal at Ardnamurchan lighthouse. A stag outside the house. A pinemarten in the forest near Loch Shiel.

A sea eagle taking off on the shore by Kilmalieu, Loch Linnhe

23.10.11 2 golden eagles over the house. 3 buzzards, 2 stonechats (near the gate), 1 wheatear (Loch Sunart), 5 ringed plover, 2 little grebe, goosander, curlew, oystercatcher, herons (in burn), goldcrests, coal, great and blue tits...!

30.10.11 On the holiday we saw redwing, herons, buzzards, otters (Loch Sunart), seals, stags...

Our dog Josh enjoying the snow up the hill.

17.03.12 Deer right next to house, eagles, hawks, wildcat in the garden at night, heron, bats, owls sheep, sheeps, sheepies, loads and loads of sheep!!

30.03.12 We put food out for the wildcat and although we never saw him, it went each night and droppings near the house showed he had visited.

A ptarmigan shortly after charging at me for probably coming too close to its nest- she's a little calmer now, but still only 4 feet away!

07.04.12 A WILDCAT! some birds we think might have been sea eagles... no pigs...

14.04.12 Eagles, deer, mad cows, lizard, hairy caterpillar. NO WILDCAT!
